Wow

This has made the list of top 10 things I’ve done in my life. We were there on a stormy day and the lake was very rough. There are 2 hot pools right on the lake but you have to walk to them. Sitting at the edge, watching the fierce lake, was awesome. At some point I went into the lake, very cold but doable in September, then quickly climbed out and back into the hot tub. When we were there it wasn’t too crowded and it was around dusk.

Great lake experience

Great place all day, but especially for the sunset. The water is not chlorinated and therefore perfect for your skin. We did enjoy as well to jump in the cold lake and then relax in the hot pools next to it.

Favorite Icelandic bath!

Loved this place! Unique location, close to nature. Floating pools in the lake (also accessible to get in the cold water – recommenced!), great views, lovely warm pools and a great bar with service from the pool. Smart armbands to both the lockers and for payment in the bar. Of all baths we visited in Iceland, this was our favorite!

Amazing!

This bath is absolutely amazing. The hot pods within the lake, the location, the view. Everything is new, the staff is really friendly… we had a perfect afternoon and evening there. It was the best bath during our stay in Iceland (and we visited a lot!)

The most amazing baths I have been to in Iceland

We were lucky and had great weather when we went. But we LOVED this place, very clean, very funky with a swim up bar. And a lovely little place to eat inside with food made from local farmers . I might move to Egilsstaðir, I love it that much.
