This combo experience gives you the opportunity to discover Iceland’s largest forest, Hallormsstaður forest, in a 1 hour ATV adventure tour, and afterward wash off the dirt and relax at Vök Baths floating geothermal pools.
You will start the tour by meeting up with your guide for the day at Hallormsstaðarskóli. There you will be provided with all necessary safety gear and equipment, warm overalls, helmet, balaclavas, and gloves. Please go over the “What to bring” section to see what we suggest you wear and bring along for the tour. The weather in Iceland is very unpredictable and can change at any time so we suggest you bring warm clothing to wear underneath your protective gear.
The ATV tour will take you on a 1-hour ride around the largest forest in Iceland, Hallormsstaður forest. You will challenge your driving skill along the paths of the forest and visit places that not many travelers visit. Along the way, you will also learn a lot about the great history of the forest that was protected by law in 1905.
After your tour, you will head over to Vök Baths to relax in the only floating geothermal pools in Iceland. Vök Baths is located on the banks of Urriðavatn lake with great views over the lake and its surroundings. The warm geothermal water and the relaxing atmosphere is a perfect way to top of the day

You will start your tour with a 1 hour ATV tour where you will discover Iceland’s largest forest, Hallormsstaðaskógur. In 1905 Hallormsstaðaskógur became Iceland’s first ever national forest and at the same time became Iceland’s first environmental protection project.

What to bring?
For the ATV tour: Please dress according to weather. We highly recommend that you dress in layers and wear something warm that you can wear underneath the overalls. Good shoes can also get you a long way. It’s easier to dress down during the tour then being cold and needing the extra clothes.
For Vök Baths: Please remember your swimwear and towels. You can also rent swimwear and towels by adding these items through “Extras” in the booking process.

Cancellation policy
- Cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled 1 day or less before the event
- Cancellation fee of 50% is charged if cancelled 3 days or less before the event
